Tianyi Quan'an Participates in the First Advanced Workshop on Thermal Protection Composites, Deeply Engaging with Cutting-Edge Ablative Thermal Protection Technologies

Tianyi Quan'an participated in the first Advanced Workshop on Thermal Protection Composites, jointly organized by the Chinese Society of Composite Materials and Harbin Institute of Technology. The workshop provided deep engagement with cutting-edge ablation-type thermal protection technologies, covering key modules such as overall design, material processing, and simulation testing.
From 2026 to 3, the "First Advanced Seminar on Thermal Protection Composites," co-hosted by the Thermal Protection Composite Branch of the China Society for Composite Materials and the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Material Simulation of Special Environments at Harbin Institute of Technology, was held at the Wanda Vista Hotel in Harbin. Focusing on "Ablative Thermal Protection Composite Technology," the seminar attracted over 130 representatives from universities, research institutes, and industry companies nationwide. Wang Xin, CEO of Tianyi Quanan (Shanghai), and Chen Xi, Director of the Extreme Thermal Environment Laboratory, attended the entire event.
The workshop is positioned as a deep-dive learning platform bridging classroom education and academic conferences, designed to provide young researchers, frontline engineers, and graduate students with a systematic, immersive experience in thermal protection composite technologies. This session focuses on ablation-type thermal protection composites, covering three core modules: overall design, materials and processes, and simulation, characterization, and performance evaluation. The program features 12 leading domestic experts delivering specialized lectures.
Over two intensive days, experts from the China Academy of Space Technology, Xi'an Aerospace Propulsion Institute, Institute of Aerospace Materials and Technology, Center for Aerodynamics Research and Development, Harbin Institute of Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, East China University of Science and Technology, Tianjin Polytechnic University, and other institutions delivered comprehensive lectures on cutting-edge topics including spacecraft thermal protection structure design, solid propulsion thermal protection, carbon-based ablation composites, textile preform structures, phenolic resin modification, lightweight resin-matrix thermal protection materials, ablation simulation, macroscopic ablation theory, extreme environment performance testing, arc-heated ground tests, and online sensing and measurement. The program also included ample time for discussion and exchange.
Tianyi Quan'an, a provider of full-chain thermal protection solutions for extreme aerospace environments, offers core products including the Chao Yu/Qi Yu series of thermal protection coatings, ceramic microspheres, fiber felts, and refractory boards. These product lines align closely with the technical themes of this training workshop. During the event, company representatives engaged in in-depth discussions with multiple instructors and attendees on topics such as coating ablation mechanisms, evaluation methods for service performance under extreme conditions, and ground simulation testing technologies. These interactions have opened new avenues for optimizing the company's technical roadmap and expanding industry-academia-research collaborations.
Tianyi Quan'an will continue to monitor cutting-edge advances in thermal protection composites, actively engage in industry academic exchanges, and draw inspiration from the workshop's spirit of "strict standards and thorough mastery." We are dedicated to deepening our expertise in aerospace thermal protection materials, delivering more reliable and efficient extreme-environment thermal protection solutions for our customers.
